In this role, you will support Contour's Product & Product Marketing team in shaping the end-to-end experience of our future products. This is a unique opportunity to refine your UX and product development skills within hardware and software.
Your new key responsibilities
- Assist in conducting user research activities, including interviews, and usability testing to gather insights on user needs and behaviors
- Ideate and define the end-to-end experience for our hardware and software products, ensuring an integrated, seamless journey through onboarding, use and end-of-life
- Create low fidelity prototypes for testing and iteration, and report on findings to improve the product
- Design product packaging, ensuring it aligns with overall UX principles, design direction and enhances the user's unboxing experience
- Work with product management, design, engineering, sustainability and other stakeholders to deliver desirable and feasible solutions
The ideal candidate has
- Finished a Bachelors degree and currently studying a Masters degree in Innovation, UX, Industrial Design, Interaction Design or related fields
- A portfolio of work in UX and design (class projects, internships, personal work, etc.)
- Proficiency in tools like Adobe CC, Miro, Figma, or similar
- A strong understanding and interest in user behaviour, and the drive to develop the best experiences through prototyping and an iterative way of working
- Experience or interest in working on both hardware and software products
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Analytical mindset with an eye for detail, especially around understanding user behaviors and pain points
