Multimedia Controller PRO v2

I must have had the original Contour ShuttlePRO for 20 years now, originally bought along with Final Cut Pro 4 if I remember correctly. It's been without issue all that time but was disappointed to discover it had stopped working with Macs a while back so it went in a box. Mulling it over yesterday, and missing the device, I had a look at your website again and was delighted to find that you updated the software for the old beast and it works again. Hooray! Thank you. It's a fantastic device for Ableton, Firefox and DaVinci Resolve. A highly recommended controller and a true classic. How many USB controllers do you know that have been supported for 20 years on Macs? I rest my case.

I can't think of Ableton without contour's multimedia controller right now, I guess I'm gonna order more to just in case. Because this is really something else. Perfect calibration. I just hang out with an hour with my new trackball and multimedia controller, I guess I caught the perfect combo for music production. I was especially suffering from Cmd + Shift + M shortcut on Ableton for creating clips, now I'm highlighting with trackball and just hitting one button with contour. And also whatever I click contour's wheel directly controls that parameter and adjusting EQs are never been more fun! Feels like managing a spaceship! I hope this company always lives because this product is unique! Thank you so much contour. You deserve better recognition and I'll share tutorials about this thing as well, so maybe some people would watch the video and find your company. I extremely loved this.

Absolute perfect when editing films, like in Adobe Premiere Pro
It's so good, I don't do editing without it, it's a waste of time.
The horror is when it breaks down and/or needs an update, like every 10 year. Reading the update info, it's scary as it says to uninstall previous version. I hope that is not true (Mac Studio M2) and loose all settings. (I thought by now, we don't need to install Rosetta, but have to anyway.

well after 9 years of use i need to buy a new one, it still works but obviously working everyday with this amazing "extra hand" the wheel rubber worn out, i cant live without this anymore, mine was silver sad that i thing they dont make silver anymore, anyways its a 5 star product, isnt even a matter of opinion is just a fact, including the fair price

I bought this to use for video editing on a Linux (Linux Mint) based system. It worked fine right out of the box though you do need to install the Linux based "ShuttleLander" to program the buttons.
